SWAT Members – Wednesday, there is going to be a leadership training session at St Johns River State College from 1 PM to 5 PM. The training is going to take place in Valhalla Hall which is in the administration building.  We will be working on several exercises in public speaking and brand awareness that will be of interest to you and help increase your leadership abilities.

It’s Valentines Penny Vote time!  Now that you’ve nominated your favorite first period boy and girl, you can vote for your favorites on stage in the cafeteria during lunch.  Remember that one penny equals one vote and one dollar equals 100 votes!  Winners will be announced on Valentine’s Day!

Students:  Our next in-school movie day is taking place on Friday, February 17th in the library.  There are two ways to go.  If you met your AR goal for the last nine weeks, you are invited.  If you didn’t, but you earn at least 4 points by February 10th, you are also invited.  We will be watching Real Steel.  If you are 12 or younger you will need a permission slip.  You can sign up in the library or on stage during lunch.  There is limited seating so don’t wait if you want to attend.  See Mrs. G is you have any questions.

Students: Club pictures are coming!  Get ready to take your group photo on Friday, February 10th in the gym.   Be sure to check your club time and don’t be late.  Talk to your club advisor to find out what you should wear.  These photos will be used in the yearbook.

Putnam County Supervisor of Elections picture contest.  Deadline to submit picture is Wednesday, February 15.  You may create your design using themes depicting history, politics and/or voting.  Anyone interested can pick up an entry form in the Main Office. 

2012 Crime Stoppers poster contest.  Deadline for submission is Friday, February 17^th.  Use artwork and/or an original slogan that illustrates shared responsibility for student safety and conduct.  Prizes will be awarded.  Anyone interested can pick up an entry form in the Main Office.
