Please select 5 of these top­ics to write about. You can use any forms of media (news­pa­per, mag­a­zine, tele­vi­sion, and inter­net) to find infor­ma­tion on these top­ics. Once you select a topic, you will then research that topic until you have enough infor­ma­tion to write 1 full page of sum­ma­rized infor­ma­tion. Be sure to include where you found the infor­ma­tion that you used to write your Cur­rent Event. The 5 Cur­rent Events that you choose to write about should be in your note­book at the end of the 9-​weeks. Each Cur­rent Event will be worth 100 points, and the grades will come from;

10 points- your name, date, period and iden­ti­fi­ca­tion of your source

30 points- for your sum­mary of what you have researched (1 paragraph)

30 points- how does this topic relate to health, fit­ness, or PE? (1 paragraph)

20 points- how do you feel about this topic? How does it relate to you, or how do you relate to it? Do you have any per­sonal feel­ings about this topic? (1 paragraph)

10 points- how well your paper is orga­nized and com­plete­ness of thought, in 5 para­graph format.

Once you select a topic, you will then research that topic until you have enough information to write 1 full page of summarized information. Be sure to include where you found the information that you used to write your Current Event. The 5 Current Events that you choose to write about should be in your notebook at the end of the 9-weeks. Each Current Event will be worth 100 points, and the grades will come from;
